ABC's of being a Trusted Adult Worksheet
ABC's of being a Trusted Adult Worksheet
This advisory plan is a great way to begin a conversation with your students on this important topic. The lesson includes not just what to expect from trusted adults, but also how important it is for youth to go 50% of the way in building these important connections.
The 3P Advisory Plans build peer to peer and adult to student connections through collaborative and competitive engagement. The plans encourage students to focus on what is possible and the topics support the boundaries of an advisor's role. The activities and connection tools have been taken from the Ripple Middle School Advisory Curriculum and the BeBOLD High School Advisory Curriculum. If you are interested in learning more about these programs, email info@onetrustedadult.com and get in touch with an OTA Coach to learn how these programs can ensure every student has at least one trusted adult in your school community.
Join us on our mission to ensure that every young person on the planet can name an accessible, boundaries, and caring trusted adult. Trusted adults are a great resource: they can provide comfort, advice, feedback, and reassurance, and help young people build skills and explore interests.
