ONE TRUSTED ADULT
Training for Mentors
Our research-based Ripple Mentoring Program fosters meaningful connections between mentors and the young people they support through engagement activities, thought-provoking exercises, and purposeful play.
Using the Ripple Journals and Ripple Cards, young people aged 10-15 explore and assess their personal wellness and individual strengths, investigate and evaluate their relationships and connections, and examine the positive impact they can make in their communities.
The engaging activities are designed to build and boost trusted adult relationships and positive peer-to-peer connections in communities. The program is flexible and requires minimal to no prep for mentors. Young people can complete the activities individually or with their mentor.
Formal training is offered for both adult mentors (OTA Foundations Course for Mentors) and peer mentors (High School Student Leadership Course).
